Gazing Figures lets go of two-eyed vision and confronts performers with a multi-eyed perspective that is inspired by the jumping spider Phidippus Regius. The experiment equips performers with self-constructed Virtual Reality suits, headsets and cameras that can be attached to their wrists and knees or other body parts.

Gazing Figures is experiment 8 of the experimental research project Future Perspectives, Modified Animals, Critical Machines by Jasper Meiners and Isabel Paehr.
